Recal is a web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) platform accessible at recal.co. It provides property managers, villa managers, boutique agencies, family offices, and private property owners with an integrated operational command centre for managing their property portfolios. Core features include calendar management, booking management, communications, documentation, task and team coordination, contact management, and property intelligence — consolidated into a single platform.

Recal is not a guest-facing booking platform, channel manager, or online travel agency. It does not facilitate transactions between property managers and guests, and does not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary in any property rental transaction. Recal provides operational tools for property managers to record, track, and manage bookings alongside their other workflows.

Recal is also available as an installable Progressive Web App (PWA), which users may add to their device's home screen on iOS and Android. The PWA operates through the browser and does not require installation via an app store.

3. Intellectual Property

All content published on recal.co and within the Recal platform — including but not limited to software, source code, design, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, databases, and the structure and organisation of the platform — is the exclusive property of Maud Naett, trading as Recal, or is used under licence from third parties.

Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, or any other use of such content, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of the rights holder, is strictly prohibited and may give rise to civil and criminal liability under applicable Spanish and European intellectual property law.

4. Acceptable Use

Users undertake to use the Recal platform and website in accordance with applicable law, public order, good faith, and these terms. In particular, users must not:

• use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its systems, or the data of other users;
• introduce, transmit, or disseminate malicious software, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt systems;
• reproduce, copy, scrape, or extract platform content without authorisation;
• impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent an affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Limitation of Liability

Recal makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and availability of the platform at all times. However, Recal does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of technical faults, and accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from:

• temporary unavailability of the platform due to maintenance, technical failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control;
• the accuracy or completeness of information entered into the platform by users;
• any decisions taken by users on the basis of information processed through the platform;
• acts or omissions of third-party service providers (including AWS, Stripe, Pusher, Mapbox, Sentry, PostHog, Vercel, Resend, and others) integrated into the platform.

6. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Recal platform may contain links to third-party websites for informational or functional purposes. Recal exercises no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of such external websites and accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss arising from their use. The inclusion of any link does not constitute endorsement.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and any dispute arising from the use of recal.co or the Recal platform shall be governed by Spanish law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction, in accordance with applicable European consumer protection legislation. For disputes between business users and Recal, the parties submit to the courts of Ibiza (Islas Baleares), Spain.
