These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all subscription purchases made on recal.co.
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the ‘Sale Terms’) govern the purchase of subscriptions to the Recal platform (‘Platform’) operated by Maud Naett, trading as Recal (‘Recal’, ‘we’, ‘us’). They apply to all commercial transactions between Recal and users who purchase a paid subscription (‘Subscriber’, ‘you’) via recal.co.
These Sale Terms should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, all of which form part of your agreement with Recal.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing
Recal offers the following subscription tiers. All prices are inclusive of applicable VAT (Spanish IVA at the current statutory rate, currently 21% for digital services):

The Starter tier is provided free of charge with no payment required. Paid subscription tiers (Host, Manager, Business) are billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Additional property listing slots may be added to any paid tier at €5 per extra listing per month, prorated from the date of purchase. Extra slots can be removed at any time, also prorated.
For operators managing more than 60 listings, custom enterprise pricing is available. Please contact info@recal.co to discuss a tailored plan.
Annual billing: an annual billing option may be offered, providing a discount equivalent to two months free. Where available, the annual price will be clearly displayed at checkout.
Recal reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes affecting existing paid subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance of the new price taking effect. Continued use of the subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
3. Purchase Process
3.1 Selecting a plan
To subscribe to a paid tier, you select the desired plan from the Pricing page or from within your account settings. The features included in each tier are clearly described at the point of selection.
3.2 Free tier — no payment required
The Starter (Free) tier does not require payment or card details. You may use the Free tier indefinitely without entering any payment information.
3.3 Paid tiers — payment at checkout
When selecting a paid tier (Host, Manager, or Business), you will be asked to provide your payment details at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Recal does not store your card details; all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards.
3.4 Upgrading from a free plan
If you are on the Starter tier and wish to upgrade to a paid plan, you may do so at any time from your account settings. Payment details will be requested at the point of upgrade. The paid subscription begins immediately upon successful payment, and the billing cycle commences from that date.
3.5 Confirmation
Upon successful purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your subscription to the email address associated with your Recal account. Access to the features of your selected tier is granted immediately upon payment confirmation. The platform is a digital service delivered via browser — there is no physical delivery.
4. Billing and Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month (the ‘renewal date’) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payment is charged to the payment method on file with Stripe on each renewal date. If a payment fails, Recal may suspend access to paid features until the outstanding amount is resolved. You will be notified by email of any failed payment.
You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details on file are accurate and up to date. Payment details can be updated at any time via your account billing settings, which are managed through Stripe's secure customer portal.
5. Taxes
All prices displayed on recal.co are inclusive of applicable VAT (Spanish IVA) for subscribers based in Spain and within the European Union, as required by applicable EU VAT rules on digital services. The VAT rate applied will be displayed at checkout.
For subscribers established outside the European Union, or for business subscribers who provide a valid EU VAT number (intra-community B2B transactions), VAT treatment may differ in accordance with applicable EU VAT legislation. Please contact info@recal.co if you have specific questions about VAT treatment applicable to your subscription.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
6.1 Immediate digital service delivery — waiver of right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103(a) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Spanish Consumer and User Protection Act) and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal for digital content or digital services is excluded where the consumer has expressly consented to the supply of the digital service beginning before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and has acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
By completing a subscription purchase on Recal, you expressly request immediate access to the Recal platform and acknowledge that, by doing so, you waive your right of statutory withdrawal under EU consumer law. This waiver applies from the moment your subscription is activated.
6.2 Cancellation at any time
Notwithstanding the waiver of the statutory right of withdrawal, you may cancel your paid subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting info@recal.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to all paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days of a billing period upon cancellation. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Starter (Free) tier at the end of the paid period.
6.3 Exception for defective service
If the Recal platform is materially defective or unavailable for a significant period due to a cause attributable to Recal (and not to your equipment, connectivity, or acts of third parties), you may contact us at info@recal.co to request a pro-rata credit or partial refund for the affected period. Each case will be assessed on its individual merits and in good faith.
7. Payment Methods
Recal accepts the following payment methods for subscription purchases:
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed via Stripe;
- Any additional payment methods supported by Stripe and displayed at checkout.
All payment transactions are encrypted and processed by Stripe. Recal does not handle or store card data. For payment disputes or chargebacks, please contact info@recal.co in the first instance.
8. Subscription Modifications
8.1 Upgrading
You may upgrade to a higher subscription tier at any time from your account settings. The upgrade takes effect immediately. The price difference between your current tier and the new tier will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the remaining days of your current billing cycle, and charged immediately.
8.2 Downgrading
You may downgrade to a lower subscription tier at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will retain access to the features of your current tier until the end of the paid period.
9. Service Availability and Warranties
Recal is a digital platform provided ‘as is’. Whilst we endeavour to maintain high availability and quality of service, we do not provide binding service level guarantees for Starter or Host tier subscribers. Manager and Business tier subscribers benefit from priority support and, for Business tier, formal SLAs as described in their subscription terms.
Recal warrants that the Platform will perform materially in accordance with its described features for the duration of your active subscription. If it fails to do so through our fault, you may request a remedy as described in Section 6.3 above.

Response time: We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days. Business tier subscribers benefit from dedicated support with priority response times.
If you are a consumer and are dissatisfied with our handling of a complaint, you may also use the European Commission's Consumer Redress platform at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Sale Terms are governed by Spanish law, with particular reference to Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Spanish Consumer and User Protection Act) and applicable EU consumer protection legislation.
For disputes with consumer subscribers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction. For disputes between business subscribers and Recal, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ibiza (Islas Baleares), Spain.
