Public Listing Policy
Governing the publication of property listings on the Recal platform
Last updated: May 2026
This policy applies to all users who publish a property listing publicly on the Recal platform. By making a listing public you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.
1. What Publishing a Listing Means
When you set a property listing to “Public” on Recal, the listing becomes visible to all users of the platform via the Recal browser and search. Published information may include the property name, description, location, images, pricing, and availability — subject to the privacy controls you configure.
2. Authorisation to List
By publishing a listing you declare that:
- You are the legal owner of the property, or you have received express authorisation from the legal owner to list it publicly on Recal.
- You have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions required to advertise and offer the property for its intended use (e.g. short-term rental licence, touristic registration where applicable).
This declaration is timestamped and recorded against your account for audit and compliance purposes.
3. No Duplicate Listings
Each property may only have one active public listing on Recal. By publishing you confirm that:
- This property is not already listed on Recal by another account or under a different name.
- You will not create additional listings for the same property for the purpose of increasing visibility, circumventing search ranking, or any other reason.
Recal reserves the right to remove duplicate listings without prior notice and to suspend accounts that repeatedly create them.
4. Listing Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that your public listing is:
- Accurate and not misleading in its description, images, pricing, or location.
- Kept up to date — including availability, pricing, and property details.
- Not used to advertise properties or services that do not exist, are not available, or that you do not have the right to offer.
5. Consequences of Violation
If Recal determines that a public listing violates this policy — including unauthorised listings, duplicates, or materially inaccurate information — we reserve the right to:
- Remove the listing immediately and without prior notice.
- Suspend or permanently terminate the associated account.
- Disclose listing and account information to affected property owners, guests, or legal authorities where appropriate.
6. Reporting Unauthorised or Duplicate Listings
If you believe a property has been listed without authorisation or that a duplicate listing exists, please contact us at support@recal.co with the listing URL and any supporting evidence. Recal will investigate all reports promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
Recal may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued publication of a listing after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your country of residence.
